The itinerary of the show included two informational seminars addressing job safety and social media marketing, a two entree menu and bar, and vendor giveaways.

New ideas are as much a necessity for a successful Contractor Show as is changing the venue.  Giving the show a new location brought excitement back to what was becoming repetitive.

While the show is still fresh in our minds the committee will meet and review what to do for next year,  The goal, to keep the show exciting and different.

ContractorShow1A complete transformation happened to the Contractor Show on Thursday, March 3, 2016.  In less than a year it went from tents to the indoor resort at Kalahari in Sandusky, Ohio.

There were well over 365 pre-registered contractors and guests that attended this year’s event.  Everyone in attendance enjoyed the two entree buffet in addition to the products featured at the vendor booths.
Praises and compliments for the show included the amount of vendors, the layout of the show, the bar and menu, the Kalahari and Gordon staff, and the entire venue.

Over 46 vendors supported the show and each provided a prize to give away at their booth.  The prizes ranged fromContractorShow2 gift cards to power tools.
Two informational seminars added an attraction to the venue and were both received with praise from the contractors.  Tom Everett, Accounts Receivable Manager,  discussed an array of topics on how to insure payment of completed work.  Brad Walker, OSHA speaker, covered job safety, record keeping and OSHA’s Focus Four.
