Job Description
We are seeking a Delivery Driver Class A to join our team! Under the general direction of the Store Dispatcher, this position is responsible for all day-to-day deliveries for the company and performing related duties as assigned. This is a true delivery position with direct driving responsibilities for the company. This individual must be willing to occasionally work in other areas of operations such as but not limited to warehouse and yard loading of customers. The individual must be willing to drive wide loads, hand load and hand unload material on site.
Responsibilities:
- Safely operate a heavy or tractor-trailer
- Load and unload cargo
- Properly track and document activity log
- Report any issues or incidents to dispatch
- Inspect truck before and after trip
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in truck driving or other related fields
- Commercial driver’s license
- Ability to handle physical workload
- Strong work ethic

Gordon Lumber is a lumber and building materials business based in northern Ohio. We operate four full-line lumber and building material outlets, and one truss plant and wall panel plant (joint venture).
